Level I-III Moab, UT

August 4 - August 6


We’re partnering up with Paddle Moab to bring you our level I-III & Surf clinic on the Colorado River. Come spend the weekend with us we’ll connect, talk about gear & safety, improve & fine-tune your river paddling skills, and get you surfing river waves on the fly. Check out the itinerary below to see what our weekend together will look like.


Friday 4th (Optional Paddle/Skill Assessment)

5:00pm-8:00pm  Paddle Happy Hour and Meet/Greet at 98 Center: This is our time to get to know YOU and YOUR time to ask any last minute questions, comments or concerns about the clinic. Afterwards you’ll receive your goody bags while we sip, socialize, and talk sup!

Saturday 5th (Level I-II Clinic)

8:00am-8:45am- Morning coffee and mingle at Love Muffin Cafe (optional)
9:00am- Meet at at Canyon Voyages, purchase last minute gear and drive to put in
9:15am-3:00pm Big Sandy Beach to Mile 6.5: During the morning we’ll chat gear and go over river education and safety. Once it warms up a bit, we’ll get on the water to dial in our strokes, bracing, and stances as well as practice eddy turns and ferries while helping you understand water dynamics and reading water so you can navigate the river with confidence. Lunch/Snacks Included.

3:00pm-5:00pmThe Eddy Out at Mile 6.5 BEACH.Free paddle where you can work on whatever you like while getting feedback from Natali and Brittany. After everyone feels comfortable on the water, we’ll wrap-up with a Trigger Point Recovery session and recap the days teachings followed by a quick chat on what to expect for the next day’s clinic.

6:00-9:00pm- Group Dinner at Sabaku Sushi (not included)

Sunday 6th (Level II-III/River Surfing Clinic)

8:00am-8:45am- Morning coffee and mingle at Love Muffin Cafe
9:00am- Purchase last minute gear at Canyon Voyages and drive to put in
9:15am-3:00pm Hittle or Onion Creek to BLM Takeout- This is where we put your learned skills to the test. Covering everything from ferries across whitewater, eddy hopping, footwork through rapids, bracing, and surfing waves on the fly. (This is the time Brittany will educate you on fin set ups and gear for surfing) Lunch/Snacks Included.

3:00pm-5:00pm- The Eddy Out at BLM TAKE OUT BEACH. This is where we chat gear, do our Trigger Point Recovery, and cover anything else you want to know about SUP’ing or Surfing on the river. After that, we wrap-up, say goodbyes, and exchange information with each other to continue to build our amazing river community!

 6:00-9:00pm- Group Dinner at 98 Center Moab (for those of you who are staying another night)

*Lodging is not included and every student is responsible for his/her own lodging for the weekend

*Cancellations requested 14 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
*Cancellations within 0-14 days of the event or "no show" will not receive a refund.

Our clinics are not for the beginner paddler. We require you to be confident on a stand up paddle board on flatwater with a general understanding of paddling basics.
